One of the primary goals of this blog from the beginning has been remixing my clothes. I have gotten really, really bad at this this winter. I'll get something new, wear it like crazy for a few weeks, then feel like I have nothing to wear. Wash, rinse, repeat. This sweatshirt is a great example. I thrifted it last fall, wore it nonstop then, but probably haven't touched it since October.
The fact is, I have plenty of clothes. Most of the time I end up wearing a dozen or so things over and over until I get bored and start feeling like I have nothing. I really need to re-learn how to wear all my clothes, all the time.
One thing I've been trying to do is move things I haven't worn for a while to the front of my closet. If I don't wear it within a month, it goes. I know this is an old trick, but it works.
What tricks do you use to get the most out of your closet?
