Review: Aloe Vera Lipstick

aloe vera lipstick

I'm not real big on beauty products. Most days, I don't even bother with makeup, and when I do, it's typically a simple swipe of mascara, maybe some eyeliner and lip gloss if I'm feeling ambitious. I never, ever get so jazzed up about something that I feel the need to tell people.

Until this.

You've probably heard of the green lipstick that changes color based on your body temperature. Well, I'm here to tell you it's the real deal. I ordered this from amazon on a whim last week. It's $7 for a pack of 12 of them, which is way cheaper than buying a single one. So I figured if nothing else I could give them away as gifts in the future.

I've been so, so pleased with this lipstick. It morphs from a odd green color into a super natural and flattering color on your lips. And best of all, it doesn't even feel like lipstick. It's really light, and feels like chap stick, which is glorious. I hate the drying feel of a heavy lipstick.

This day it turned a nice rosy color. The day before when I was wearing it, it was a brighter pink.

This acts almost as more of a lip stain than a lipstick, so I'd highly recommend exfoliating your lips before wearing. You can do this many ways, but my favorite is to take a wet toothbrush and gently scrub.

Have you tried the green lipstick?

This is not a paid review. The green lipstick people don't even know I exist. I'm just a really happy camper.
