July in Review

Summer, you are flying by. Here's what went down in July:

Buys:
July Buys
Thrifted Tops; Pendant via Antique Mall (for sale on Etsy here)
Total: $15

July left us a little lacking in the extra money department, and what we did have we spent on fun things like a camping trip and ice cream dates. I've also been feeling like I have plenty of clothes in my closet at present, and very little need to buy more. I absolutely could not pass up this pendant though. Jeremy and I went antiquing a few days ago and I spotted these map necklaces. I even found one with the area I grew up in!

Reads:

The Nesting Place - I LOVED THIS! Go read it now.

XES - Another good one. I wish it would have been formatted a bit differently, but full of goodness nontheless.

I also re-read The Hunger Games.

Thankfulness:

-We took an awesome and relaxing camping trip to Tecumseh this month. We hadn't been camping in 2 years so another trip was long overdue.
-The weather has been SO NICE. There are many around me complaining about the cold summer but I'm soaking it right up.
-We sold one car and bought a new one. The whole thing was quick and easy and we couldn't be happier.

How was your July?

  1. You found some cute, comfy tops for a steal! That pendant is a beautifully unique piece of jewelry, too.
