So we moved into our fixer-upper house last fall. Since then I've gone through stages of fixing it up. When we first moved in, I was really excited about it and couldn't wait to get started. Then when I took stock of everything that needed to be done I got a little overwhelmed and kind of gave up for a while. Then this spring I finally got sick of living in an ugly house and found some motivation again. Yesterday I woke up feeling ready to paint, so I tackled the bathroom. The awful green and brown paneling is now gone, the mirror has been reframed, and I have grand plans to paint the cabinets. It's such a small room so hopefully the near instant gratification of getting it done quickly will push me to do more in the rest of the house.
