April in Review

Bye, bye April. You were warm, vacationy, and overall a good time. I gotta admit I'm a little sad to see you go.

I don't have a favorite outfits wrap up for you this month cause my computer died. This post is coming to you straight from my husband's computer.

Oh the glorious power of thrifting. That's how I got all of this stuff this month, save for the scarf, which I won in a giveaway from Daily Charms. I told you guys I've been really into basic tees this month.

Reads:

• Crossing to Safety - I read this on the recommendation of Modern Mrs. Darcy. It was so very well written. I greatly enjoyed it.
• Hatching Twitter - Another MMD rec. I find books like this fascinating and this did not disappoint.
• Rules of Civility - Beautifully written. I loved this.

I'm excited for May! We're taking a much needed week long vacation and I can't wait. I'm also participating in Me Made May. I'm putting my own spin on it and pledging to wear at least one handmade, refashioned or thrifted item everyday. I'm really excited to get to know other sewing/refashioning bloggers and I'm hoping this will motivate me to sew more myself! I'll be posting all my outfits on Instagram.
