So a couple of weeks ago I spotted this awesome sweatshirt on Jeremy's side of the closet. It was super baggy on me, but I love the retro graphic, so I decided to rescue it.

I used another sweatshirt I have as a guide and pinned up the sides and sleeves. I also wanted to make it 3/4 sleeves so I just cut them off where I wanted them
I simply sewed where my pins where and hemmed the sleeves, leaving the bottom edge raw. Behold, the final product:
So much more wearable! I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

Great save on the sweatshirt! The graphic on it is great.
ReplyDeleteI've been working on updating a blazer that I haven't worn since high school speech team days. Something is just a tad off about it that I need to fix before sharing.
