So...the snow finally arrived in mid-Michigan. Things are nice and white around here and not a moment too soon. Nothing like snow to really make it feel like Christmas.
I finally got started in my Christmas baking today. See, we don't actually ave an oven right now. For the most part, this is just fine. I can cook most of our daily meals in the slow cooker just fine. But cookies...well, that's a little tougher. However, I'm happy to report that my toaster oven did a decent job on my molasses cookies. Who knew?
