September in Review

Another month come and gone! September was a month of healing. Let's take a quick look back...

Wears
septfaves

We didn't experience the drop in temperature I was hoping for this month, but I had fun mixing summer and fall pieces.

Buys
septbuys
Cents of Style Scarf, $10; Thrifted Necklace, $3
Cents of Style State Necklace, $11; Thrifted Flats, $3
Total: $27

As you can see, I didn't do a whole lot of shopping this month. This was partly from being too busy, partly from the fact that that it was my birthday month and I wanted to leave room in the budget for my husband to spoil me a little. ;-) I love what I did get this month though. I've worn each of these pieces several times already.

Reads
  • Bloom by Kelle Hampton - What a great book. I laughed. I cried. It moved me Bob. Seriously, awesome book.
  • The Style Strategy by Nina Garcia - This was fun to read. It's in the same vein as her other books, but with more of a focus on dressing on a budget, which was refreshing.
  • Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M by Sam Wasson - If you love Audrey Hepburn or classic movies, you should check this one out. It was super interesting to get a glimpse into the making of Breakfast at Tiffany's. I loved this one.
  • The House at Riverton by Kate Morton - AMAZING. This book is like Downton Abbey meets Gatsby. It took me a while to get into this one but I'm so glad I stuck with it. Kate Morton is a genius and I can't wait to read more.
How was your month?
