Outfit Favorites:
I had a glorious reunion with my dresses this month as I rediscovered wearing them without tights. It was wonderful.
Latest Buys:
Top Row: all thrifted
Not pictured: a thrifted nightie, a medical ID bracelet that hasn't arrived yet, and the Old Navy sandals in the outfit photo 2nd from the right...cause I forgot I bought them this month.
Total: $55
I kept feeling throughout the month that I bought of ton of clothes...but I guess I didn't. I've been pretty strict about my $50/month clothing budget the last few months and it's been going really well. I got a lot of great deals with coupon codes, gift cards, and a half off day at the thrift store, so I was able to stretch my money further than it usually goes.
I realized this month that most of my shorts were too big. Not because I lost weight over the winter (although I did lose a little), but because I was probably in denial about it last summer. I hate buying shorts. Thankfully I was able to find these two pairs at the beginning of the month, so I should be set for summer. Also, that tee in the corner has a print of Mickey and Minnie on it! I was a big Minnie fan back in the day, so I couldn't pass that up.
Bookshelf:
I only read two books this month, but since I discovered the library halfway through May, I'm sure they'll be more in June.
Quick summary: I loved The Wednesday Wars and hated Her Fearful Symmetry. I really wanted to like it. I loved Niffengger's first novel, but this one was just weird. Wednesday Wars, however, was a delight to read. If you're looking for something cute, but thought provoking, give this a try.

I'm excited for June! We have a wedding to go to and lots of sunshine to soak up this month. We're also hoping and praying that we find our house this month! What are you looking forward to in June?
I love the second look. So pretty and feminine.
