It was freezing like death outside the day I wore this, so please enjoy this view of my dining room and my serious face.
Thrifted Top, $3 (similar @ Gap)
Gap Scarf, $10 on clearance (similar @ Anthro)
JC Penney Jeans, $20 (similar)
JC Penney Boots, $50 (similar)
This look is inspired by the image on the header of this blog, which I found on Pinterest like, forever ago. I love a good mixed prints look, and this scarf adds just the right burst of color and interest.
So. Completely off topic, but I have a question for you all. What are your favorite food blogs? I'm looking for more recipes that include more fruits and veggies, as well as things that aren't too acidic. I've been doing a bit of experimenting with my diet the last few weeks and a few things are for certain: my body does not like processed foods of any sort, and it does not like acid. Fast food most definitely makes my stomach turn, as do things like chili, excessively saucy pastas, and beer (sob). My favorite food blog at the moment is Gluten-Free Goddess (although, please know that I'm not going gluten free. her recipes are just amazing), and I'd love to find other similar blogs that use lots of whole foods!
Linking up!
Love this classic, everyday look! I don't follow any food blogs but I've heard good things about A Pinch of Yum. And there is a recipes section on this blog: http://www.hespeaksinthesilence.com/category/the-kitchen/ and I actually know the girl that writes it and she's super healthy and makes the best foods in the world!
ReplyDeleteAwesome, thanks Sarah! :-)

DeleteYour outfit also reminds me of this look I've pinned and actually worn on a weekend (but haven't blogged yet). Stripes go with so many other patterns!

DeleteThat picture is the exact reason I'm looking for a bright floral scarf (ok, and the perfect striped shirt). Love this re-make of it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I have several perfect striped shirts now and wear them all constantly! Never a bad investment!
DeleteI recommend my friend's blog, acting like a chef @ http://actinglikeachef.wordpress.com/
