So I recovered my sewing machine from storage at my parent's home while we were there over Thanksgiving. Which means I finally got to hem this dress I thrifted a few months ago. I took about 8.5 inches off the bottom, and do I ever love it now! It's rather thick too, so it'll be great for winter wear.
I also decided over the weekend that I wanted to do a shortened 30x30 challenge. A 15x15 challenge, actually. I think I've attempted 4 different 30x30 challenges, and have only finished one. I usually get desperately bored around the 20 outfit mark and quit. So, I decided to make it a bit more manageable. Here's my 15 pieces:
I'm not counting shoes this time around, and as always, accessories (scarves, jewelry, tights, hats, etc) don't count either.
My goal for this challenge is to try and layer a bit differently than I usually do. I've been a bit bored with throwing a cardigan on over everything, which is why I only included one in this challenge. I'm going to try and use my button ups a bit more, and hopefully create some new combos!
I start today. Wish me luck! :-)
Oh, I love a good remixing challenge! This one seems to achievable too. Can't wait to see what you come up with. The green hue of that dress is beautiful and I love how well it stands out against the black tights and boots!

Thanks Callie! I am excited too! :-)
DeleteGood job on hemming that dress. It looks super cute!
ReplyDeleteI feel like doing a remix challenge myself, but I probably won't start until January. Doing a remix challenge right now would be too crazy for me. Good luck with yours though!
Thanks Duc! I hope you do, I've enjoyed your past 30 for 30s. :-)
