October in Review

I can't believe October is over already! Here's what happened:

A few outfits that never made it to the blog.

Best of SS: Copy Cats: Fall Edition, Date Night Jar, Pin-spired

Reading: Kevin DeYoung's Just Do Something, Nicolas Spark's Three Weeks with My Brother, Timothy Keller's The Meaning of Marriage (re-read). All excellent books.

Listening: Ok, if you haven't listened to Taylor Swift's new album, you have to give it a try.  She has grown up so much and it shines right through on Red.

fall leaves; my new favorite: "taupe on a rope"; I won this awesome bag from Go Chic or Go Home
monkey feet, as seen on the cute kid I was babysitting; my cutie; Halloween feet

Watching: My husband and I have been watching a lot of old movies via Netflix the last two months.  Amongst our favorites are Sabrina, The Pajama Game, and Holiday.  We also finally finished season 1 of 24 (ohmygoodness so addicting) and I've been watching the first season of Parenthood (as well as keeping up with the current season). Such an amazing show, I don't know why it took me so long to discover it!

Buying: I did a lot of thrifting this month! I think the only thing I bought brand new was my boots.  I quite an assortment of things that I love and am excited to share here on the blog.

Anticipating: Jeremy's birthday, Thanksgiving, and our 2nd anniversary. We still haven't made plans for any of those events yet, but I'm really excited for each of them, and for the holidays in general this year!

yum; beautiful sunset; more yum
pretty shoes I spotted at a consignment shop; even more yum; my latest torture device

P.S. November is Diabetes Awareness Month! Wear blue, celebrate World Diabetes Day and show your support!
