We all have things in our closet with a story behind them, right? I know I do. And so, I bring to you Clothes with Stories, a series (I hope) of posts about the stories behind the clothes!
I bought this necklace last spring on our trip to Colorado. I love picking up little things while I travel that say "insert name of area here". To me, an aspen leaf says Colorado.
We searched and searched the stores in Grand Junction, where we were visiting family, and didn't find many appealing trinkets. I spotted this on our way home at some little rest stop that I can't even remember the name of any more in the middle of the Rockies. It was perfect, I love it, and it reminds me of Colorado. It's supposed to be a real leaf too, which is super cool.

I think this is a great idea for a series. When someone says, "I like your top" or "Nice earrings" I feel compelled to tell them the story (sometimes I should just say "thanks" because they probably don't care but I digress).
