I Made This Skirt

Say hello to my new skirt! I made it all by myself using this tutorial.  I've been wanting to make myself some skirts for so long, but fabric is SO much money (not really, but I often feel like I can buy a brand new skirt for the cost of the fabric)!  I was finally able to find some I liked for super cheap at Joann's during their Memorial Day sale.  I got this lovely pink, a striped jersey, and a cotton floral all for around $10.

Sidenote: Yes, I am posing by some over sized spools.  They were discarded during the construction of the local wind farm, and they were free, so of course my dad had to get some. :-)
