This has been one of my favorite quotes for a long time.  I think I first saw it hanging up somewhere while working at a health camp one summer.

This quote is how I strive to live my life.  Very few of us make a huge impact on this world. We're born, we grow up, often get married and have kids, work, retire, and die.  And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

So why not focus on making the most of the life we've been given?  Take the time to compliment someone, to say hello and smile at a person on the street.  To care for your family as best you can.  To be the best person you can be at work.  Someone will notice.  Someone will remember.  And you'll have just made their life that much better.
