What to wear when you're spending hours at a time in a car...what a question. Comfort is always my top priority, and I managed to come up with a few outfits that were super comfy but still looked cute!
A few tips:
- Layers! The weather can change so much from place to place, you want to be able to take things off if you need to.
- Comfortable fabrics! I opted for a lot of cotton blends on this trip, and it was great. The jersey cotton I wore a lot of didn't wrinkle easily either, so I felt fresh all day.
I wore this outfit both on the trip out and the trip back (once with leggings). The dress made for a really comfy, easy to wear outfit.
Dress: JC Penney ($20); Gap City Flats ($10); Old Navy Bag (clearance, $7)
Another great jersey skirt (sorry for the terrible photo). I also wore this with a blue tee and brown sandals.
Sears Floral Top; Relativity Jacket via Consignment ($15); Old Navy Fold-Over Skirt ($15); Wanted Boots via The Shoe Dept. ($20)
Another bad photo...but you're getting the idea, right? :-)
Target Cardi ($10); Thrifted Striped Top ($3); Self-made Skirt; Gap City Flats ($15)
I'll be posting what I wore while were were actually in Colorado in a few days! :-)
What are your favorite things to wear while traveling?
That gray dress looks so good on you. It also goes perfectly well with your red ballet flats! Keep on posting your fashion tips because I enjoy reading them!
