While my husband was in the army, his work hours were rarely dependable. It was difficult to make pizza due to this inability to predict when he'd be home. This recipe doesn't require that you wait for the crust to rise, making the whole process much easier! :)

1 package dry active yeast
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 cup warm water
2 1/2 cups bread flour (all-purpose works well too)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1. Preheat oven to 450. In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
2. Stir in flour, salt, and oil. Beat until smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.
3. Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface and roll into a round. Transfer crust onto lightly greased pizza pan. Spread with desired toppings and bake in pre-heated oven for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Enjoy! :-)
