The Vacuum

Wrap Cardi: H&M via Consignment ($7.50)
Tank: Old Navy (clearance, $6)
Maxi: Old Navy ($12)
Mary Janes: American Eagle via Payless (free from my sister)
Scarf: Burlington ($6)

When getting dressed yesterday, I was going for a look similar to Sarah at Frills4Thrills.  I really like the tucked in shirt and belted maxi she's rocking there.  But, I just couldn't make it happen.  So, a tucked in shirt sans belt it is.

A few days ago, I bought a new vacuum.  It was pretty much the highlight of my week.  See, prior to that, I had been using my grandma's old vacuum.  It worked fine when I was in college, but the last 6 months, it's really started to show it's age.  I was quickly losing the battle to the animal hair in our home, so a new vacuum was in order.  I managed to score a Eureka Powerline on sale at Walmart.  I haven't been that excited in a long time.  My husband picked it up after work and at 10pm I vacuumed the whole apartment.  It was glorious.

What sort of home projects do you get excited about?
