And suddenly...it's winter. The forecast had me thinking we were just in for a dusting, but alas, I was greeted by a few inches of the white stuff this morning.
We're in full Thanksgiving mode here. I already got my pumpkin pie baked this morning, and will be starting some bread shortly. My husband is home from work and will be on break the next 5 days. It's just me and him this year; quite a switch from last year. We got married the day after Thanksgiving last year, and both of our large families gathered at my parent's house for the meal. It was quite the event, but it will be nice to have a quieter day this year.
