Red Shoes in Orange Leaves

Sweater & Jeans: Old Navy
Scarf: Thrifted
Shoes: Gap
Necklace: Etsy
Earrings: Mudd (Kohl's)

I was so excited to see this huge pile of leaves in the backyard this morning.  Sad that they're no longer on the tree but dude...nothing beats an awesome pile of leaves.

Today I'm working on finally finishing up my photography unit on portraiture.  I tend to save my course work until I run out of other things to do.  Needless to say, it takes me a while to get it done...
I feel very fall-ish today.  It's cool outside, but not bitterly cold like yesterday and I'm loving this sweater! :)

Have a great weekend! :)

  1. When doing self portraits, I've found that buying an extra tripod is helpful because you can use it as your "stand-in" to focus on, then dial in your ap/ss, set the timer and go move the tripod and position before the timer goes off. :-) It helps to get the "fuzzy" background just right without having to stand right beside whatever you used to focus!

  2. @Saly I actually have a remote for when I do self portraits, and that usually works well. I can push the remote button half way to focus while standing in front of the camera. My husband took these photos, and sometimes he clicks the button before it's focused! :-P
