1) Today I woke up and one of the fish was flat on it's back in the bottom of the tank, but still breathing. I thought for sure I'd have a dead fish by noon, but I changed out part of the tank water and she's now swimming around like nothing happened. Fish drama.
2) My parents were planning on coming to visit next week, but my mom called this morning to tell me they'd have to delay their trip by at least a week due to craziness at home. I was really looking forward to their visit, especially since this is only about the 3rd time they've promised they'd come.
3) I'm trying really hard to find a cheap 85mm fixed focal lens for my Canon Rebel so I have a good portrait lens. I've had quite a few requests for portrait sessions, so this is becoming a need rather than a want. They are so darn expensive. My husband and I have very new credit too, so finding a place that will approve us for financing is difficult. I hate money. A lot. If you know of anyone or anywhere that has a lens like this, please leave a comment.
4) I'm also trying to budget for Christmas presents. Next year, I think I'm starting on December 26th. Did I mention that I hate money?

ahh.. budgeting christmas presents is hard. a year or so ago i paired down my christmas list by a lot - no sense in getting gifts for people you hardly ever see. and i make a lot of presents too.... this year i've been knitting a cowl scarf that averages less then $10. i've made 3 of them so far. :) but i know how you feel. christmas can be a stressful time.
ReplyDelete@Maggie B. I'm probably going to crochet a few things too. I only do gifts for our immediate families, but we both come from large families! I'm hoping to get it all done over the next few months.
