Photos look different today? That's because they were shot with my brand spankin' new 85mm prime lens. I am in love with this thing. Just look at how sharp they are! And the lighting...ah! Love. I bought this to get a start on some portrait photography for my photography business, and I can see why this lens is the top pick for such photos. Just lovely.
I made this necklace and a handful of others recently. I got all the materials at Micheal's craft store, probably for under $5. The best part is that I just got a really long 3 foot chain and broke it where I wanted it, making this necklace a custom length. Due to a rather short torso, the ones they always sell in the store are realllly long. This one, is perfect.
Also, hello belly! These photos are straight out of camera (no editing!). Maybe the fact that this new lens is rather unforgiving will be a good motivator.

That necklace is so adorable. And I love it with the super feminine light pink top. Really pretty!
