This is such a darling little hat.  My husband spied it at Old Navy this past weekend.  I went in there looking for black skinnies, and walked out with this hat, boots, a color blocked top, and the cardigan I wore yesterday.  Oh, and no skinnies.  That store is the death of my budgeting efforts every month.  At least I got all but one of those items on clearance. :)

I did find an awesome DIY yesterday on EBEW for how to make pants skinny.  I have an old pair of black dress pants hanging out in my dresser that don't get worn much anymore, so I think I'm gonna DIY myself some black skinnies!

I'm still a little unsure about this outfit.  I think the idea is good, but I'm not so sure about the execution.  Maybe this top will be better layered with other pieces.  It definitely needed a belt on it's own though!

Apparently tis the week of black and white.  Three days in a row now.  Tomorrow will end that though, as I'll be breaking out my new color blocked Old Navy top. :)
